Today I would like to talk about Saturday.

On last Saturday, I went to school for the Boy's lacrosse practice.
After that, some people said to go to shopping together.

And some players(Tsuyoshi etc) and a maneger (Hitomi) went to shopping.

But I couldn't go with them.
I really want to go with them, but my mother have to pick up me.
So I couldn't go.

I disappointed,
but I remembered that I have to go to visit the Japanese Saturday School.

I had gone there for 3 years and I graduate that Middle School last year.
I didn't go to high School because I came Keio.

So now I am not going to there.

But that day, they had the Field Day!!
So I went to the Saturday School to meet my friends.

I met some friends at there and I found the new classmate.
He is so cute(>o<)!!

After that, I went to Japanese Store, Diado, and Japanese Book Store, Safari Books.
At there!!
I found Hitomi and Naru!
And some players at Daido.

I really suprised and happy(>v<)*

After that, I, Hitomi, and Naru went to shopping.
And we played bowling.
I was not good at this time than last time.
But I got spare at last!
First I am worse score, but at last I got highest score!!!

So my last weekend was really nice and fun
I had good time with them!
And I want to play again with them!!(・v・///)

★Athletic Day and Day Trip★

On last week we had two big events.
Its are Athletic Day and Day Trip.
So today I would like to talk about its.

On last Wednesday we had the Athletic Day.
Our Athletic day is very similar as Japanese Taiiku-sai than American one.
So I enjoyed it very much.

In our school, there are 4 classes, K E I and O for each grades.
(But 9th grade have just 2 classes)
So we separate to their term, K E I and O to fight.
So every terms have all grades students.

Also each team has traditional color.
K's team color is white
E's team color is Blue
I 's team color is Black and
O's team color is Red
So every students must wear the T-shirt which colored your teams.

In our Athletic day we have many games.
We have
-Tamaire(The game which throw the balls to the basket which is in very high place)
-Short-distance race
-Kibasen(The Japanese traditional game, mock cavalry battle. People ride on others' backs)
-Sixteen-legged race -Tug of war
-Tengoku to Zigoku(the race which you ran with your partner and have many obstacle.)
-Water balloon battle -Boys relay -Relay

I joined in Tamaire, Kibasen, Tengoku to Zigoku and Tug of war.
It was very fun!!!
Also I got the bread because of tengoku to zigoku!!!(>o<)/

We have a lot of game in the athletic day but most important and big event in this is
Oen-gassen.
It is the japanese traditional thing to do.
We do performance something like danced and play (a little) to the other people to cheer them.
this is the not game, but it have prize so we tried very hard.
We practiced it for long time.
One before week of this, we have to practice it every day for afterschool and mornig.
So I tried my best for this.

In result I couldn't get the prize but it was very fun to me.

On last thursday we had Day trip and we went to The American Museum of Natural History.
There have many very fun things to see.
I had been here before with family, but I like this museum so I glad to came here again.
We had some Geography packet and project at this day trip and it was little difficult for me but it was very fun to see around the museum.
I thought I want to come to here again on someday.


Ah! Tomorrow we have a event again!
The Indian Hills students will come to our school to visit!!
We went to their school before so I am very happy with this. I can't wait for it(>v<)* Bye bye

★SAKURA MATSURI★

Yesterday I went to help the SAKURA MATSURI.
So today I would like to talk about SAKURA MATSURI.

SAKURA MATSURI is a Japanese festival which is little famouse in this area.
We have this festival at the small park which has many Sakura tree, cherry broosoms.
There are very beutiful place to do festival.

On that day it was rain but we had the festival at the outside.
I helped YMCA team to do scooping goldfish.
I did the receptionist to get money and give the net.

There were a lot of Keio student, 10th and 11th too.
Keio is helping this festival too.

First I thought that not many people come to thefestival this year.
Because it was rainy.
But many people came to this festival!!

Scoopig goldfish is the most popular activity at this festival.
So many people came to our scooping goldfish place.

Also there had some shops too.
I got dumpling and lemonade!
The dumpling is very delicious and it is my favorite food!!!
I brought it last year, and I loved it.

Now I had many goldfish at the my house.
It is about 15 fish.....(>д<);;lol
I like fish but.... I think it was too many...w

Last year I bought about 10 fish at this festival.
Most of the fish was alived for long time.
(All of fish waere dead at February....;;)
So I wonder that how longer alive this fishes in my house this year.lol

The festival was very fun!!!!!(^0^)/

After the festival done, I was very happy because many people were smiling and said thank you to us.
So I was very happy!!!!!(>o<)

I had A good weekend this week!

Lacrosse Game

On last Monday,last Tuesday, and last Thursday we had the boys lacrosse game.
So now I would like to talk about thoes two games.

On Monday, it was home game.
That game was the first home game for us.
On the same day we had also rugby last home game.
So all student went to see the rugby game.
So there were no people except us.
It was really fun game.

First we got scores and we were winning, but after the 2nd game we lost scores.
And at the last of 10 secound, Chris-san got point.
And we were draw.
So we do extension game.
But we lost the point and we lost the game...

On Tuesday we had game with Dobbus Ferry again.
This is the secound game for us to play game with them.
Last game, we won at the game.
So we thought that we will win again.
But they were became more storonger and we lost the game.

On Thursday, we had a home game with.... I forgot the name..sorry.lol
We lost that game too.
But it was really fun game.
We lost the game by 1point.

Also on that day, I met a Japanese friend!!...(・o・)!!!
He came to Keio for V Tennis game!
I really suprised and happy!!

On this week, we have some games.
So this week, I want to win at the all of games!!

Today I have a away game(>o<)

★Spring Break★

Last week we had the spring break.
It was for a week from Shofusai.

So today I would like to talk about my spring break.

*Sunday*
Sunday, first day of the spring break,
I went to the school to clean the room which used for Shofusai.
I went to there on 8 o'clock...(・o・);
(Same time as normal school day......)
After the clean up of the our class, I went to the committee,
Bunjitsu (shool festival committee) and cleaned up the room of the Bunjitsu.
It took more time than the our class room!!
There was vary dirty and messy(>д<)!!
After that, I went to Japanese store with my friend.

*Monday*
I did nothing(>o<)
Just I was reading Manga and Sleeping...

*Tuesday*
I did nothing...again.lol
But it was rain.
It was thundering too!!
I love thunder!!!(>o<)
Doesn't it cool?w

*Wednesday*
I cleaned up my room!!
It took longer time than the room which cleaned up on Sunday...!!
But now, my room was really nice.

*Thursday*
I went to shopping with my friends, Keiko, Hitomi, Hiroko, Yuka.
(Oh! All same English classmate!lol)
We went to the shopping mall which is in NJ.
I love that shopping mall than any other shopping malls.
There is very very very nice!!
I bought a swimming suit and a T-shit!!
This day was the best day of my spring break.

*Friday*
I went to the school for the international day!

I went to the school for club.
And after that I went to eat dinner with some of lacrosse members.
After the dinner we went to the school again for the practice of Taiiku-sai(athletic day).
I was little tired but it was really happy and fun day.
Also on this day, I could see the fireworks at the school.

*Sunday*
Nothing....lol

I thought that my spring break was boring before I wrote this.
But now I think my spring break was very nice and fun.
I went to many place and met many people.
And I played and read a lot!
So it was very nice days!!!(>o<)!

So now I have to studay.;;
You know that I didn't study a lot during the break...lol

★INTERNATIONAL DAY★

Last Friday, I wen to the elementary school which is near my house.
On that day, there were the international day!!

At that school, every this season we have international day.
International day is the festival which could experience the other countries things and food.

We have a Japanese corner, and we taught about ORIGAMI and YUKATA.
Also we wrote their name in Japanese.

I helped them to taught the ORIGAMI.
I didn't spoke with American children for long time, so first I can't speak well.
So it was little hard for me.
But it was really fun!!

I love the children so it was very fun!!

Every year I helped them to teach ORIGAMI,
so if I can, I want to go to the international day to help them again!!!(>o<)

★SHOFUSAI＝祥風祭★

Last weekend we had the Shofusai!!!(^0^)/
So today I would like to talk about it.

Shofusai is the our most biggest school festival.
It was really fun and I had good time with my friends.

We had preparation for long time for Shofusai.
We drew the wallpapers for our class.
It was all about Japanese matsuri, festivals, because we did matsuri at our grade.
We made quoits and rubber band gun to play to get the presents.
Also we did Shashinkan, which is the place to take the pictures.
So I was looking forward it.

And I think it was succeed!!
This was first time for us, so we had some problems, but I think it was succeed!
We had a lot of fun with classmate and visiters.
So I had good time with them.

Oh, did I talked about the　tea ceremony?
I am a member of the tea ceremony club.
And at the Shofusai, we wore the "kimono" and did the "Ohakobi".
Ohakobi is one of the job of tea ceremony which is carry the tea to the guests.
I was really nervous, but I did my best.
And kimono was very beutiful!
　
Also we had Zenyasai and Koyasai.

Zenyasai was on last friday, a day before the syohusai.
It was the big festival and we had good time.
Many people danced and sang.
All of those people was practiced long time for this day.
So it was really cool and nice.

Koyasai was on the same day with Shofusai.
Koyasai was not big festival like Shofusai and Zenyasai, but it was nice.
We brought the pillow to sleep!lol
At the last of this festival, we had a time which is singing by all students.
Before of it, we got a lighting stick and during the song, we threw the lighting sticks!
It was really cool and beutiful.

Oh, and also I was a member of Bunjitsu.
Bunjitsu is one of the school committee which worked for festivals.
So before and after the Shofusai, I was worked for it very hard.
So after of it, I was really tired.

But I had good time on the last weekend.
Shofusai was very fun and also Zenyasai and Koyasai was fun.

I love the big festivals, so I like Shofusai very much!!

I can't wait that the next year of the Shofusai!!

Boys lacrosse=Away Game★

Yesterday we had the first away game.

So I would like to talk about it.

Yesterday we had game with Dobbus Ferry.
We took bus to Dobbus Ferry Elementary School.
(but we played with high school team(>o<)!!)

Every morning which has the away games, Keiko and Risako will make many rice balls for players.
But yesterday, I got to school very early time, so I helped them.

Before the bus came, the manager made the battle of waters, and do other many things.
And we rid on bus and went to Dobbus Ferry School.

The game was started.
And first, the other team took 3point.
(One of them is own goal because of the goalkeeper.lol)

But the during 3rdQ game, we reached them and 4thQgame we beat them!

Chris-san who is our captain took 2 points,
Max-san who is 11th grade took 2 points,
Micchi-san who is 10th grade took 1 point,
Hide who is 9th grade took 1 point and
Uno-kun who is 9th grade took 1 point!!

We got 7 points and Dobbus Ferry was 6 points.
So we won at the first away game!!!!!(^0^)/

That is the Come-from-behind victory!

That is the really nice and emotional game!!!!!

And we had a lot of fun and got many things from this game!(*>u<)b

Next game will be on this Thursday!
This is also away game so we wolud like to do our best and also we will win at that game too!!

Today I would like to talk about Lacrosse Trip on last weekend.

I went to stadium at NJ to see the games which are against by famous teams with boys lacrosse members.
It was really nice and fun.
Also I think all players got something new from its games.

But it was so cold!!
We wore much clothing but we were freezing....(・o・);

So I stayed most half of time in the bathroom with Keiko and Risako.
We took many pictures and talked a lot.

And we brought chicken, french fries, and hot chocolate.
But it was very expensive and I used a lot of many....(>A<);;

After the game, we went to eat dinner.
We went to Korean restaurant to eat Yakiniku!!!(*>u<)/
It was very delicious and fun.
We took many pictures again and eat and eat....
I love this boys lacrosse team so this day was really fun to me.
So I want to go to somewhere with them(>o<)
Also I hope that all of the players got something new from the games and became more stronger!!!

Next game will be on next Tuesday (4/14)!!
(But it was away game..;;)

EXAMS

We finished the EXAMSSSSS!!!!!(^0^)/
I'm so tired...lol

And yesterday most of those test was backed..

So I would like to talk about it.

OH....... first I tell you.

......I hate TESTS!!!(>o<);

I took 6 tests, English, Math,
Biology, Geography, Kokugo, OC.

On the first day, we had English, Biology, and OC.
I studied very hard for English and Biology.
I don't know what the score of the Biology test because
we don't get it yet.
We will get it tomorrow.
And... You know what the my score of the English test.
I thought that I did better at this test than last exam.
But the score was not really good...(>o<)

And next day I had only Math test.
On the first and secound quarter's exam,
I got good(?lol) score at Math.
But this time, I mistaked many questions which is
the very high score, so I got bad score....(>_<;)

On the last day, I had Geography and Kokugo test.
Geography... I hate Geo!!(+o+);
On the Kokugo, I think it was good♪♪
I got high score at Takano san's test!

Oh! And on the next day, Friday was no schooooool!!!

But I went to school and worked for Syouhu-sai!
And I went to Rokkon!!!
It was really nice and cool.
I love rock!!!
... I want to talk about rock music and
my favorite musicianc on someday!!

We had LACROSSEGAME♪

Today, I would like to talk about the last lacrosse game.

I had talked about it for last time, so I would like tell you how it was going.

On March 18th, we had the boy's lacrosse game!!(^0^)/

We played against Keio Hiyoshi High School at the field of Manhattan ville college.

Keio Hiyoshi's player are bigger and older than us.

And they are really good lacrosse players.

This is the first time to me to see the lacrosse game. (Except the video)

I thought that boys lacrosse game is so dangerous game.

But also I thought it is the very interesting and exciting game.

As a result, we lose the game...

They got 16points but we can't got the point.

But it was very nice game and it is very good experience for us.

I think we learned many things from them.

After the game, all players said this game was very good experience for them even we lose the game.

Also they said that they could learn many things from the game than the practices.

So I think this game was very good for us!

After the game, we took many pictures with Hiyoshi's players.

And we had a party with them.

It was a small party but it was very fun.

We had a good time with them(>o<)!

LACROSSE GAME★

★Today we have the first lacrosse game!!★
So today I would like to talk about it.

We practiced very hard for this game.
Sometime they also practiced after the team dinner.
Some players was got injures.
But they still practiced very hard.

I think they were practiced very hard to win at this game.
But I don't think that they practiced for just to win.
I think also because of a team which is against today.

Today we fight against Keio Hiyoshi!!(^0^)/
Keio Hiyoshi is a school which is located in Japan.
And they come to Keio NY to fight with us.
So I think they are practiced very hard for this reason.

Yesterday, we found them at Keio's Field after school.
They are older than most of our team' players and looks like very strong.(・o・);

But we will beat them!(>o<)

Players are practiced very hard.
But also we are doing hard for them.

Always we take time or make cold water or make some ice if they need.
We washing the towels every day.
Then, today Risako and Keiko(other two managers) were made many rice balls for them.
Then I made many cookies for them!!

So we hope that win at this game very much!

LACROSSE★

Today I would like to talk about keio lacrosse team.

In this season Im doing a boys lacrosse manager.
There are about 17 players and other 2 managers.
Also there are many 9th grades.
So our team is very fun and looks like a big family(*>u<)/

On the day before yesterday, we got new coach.
He is very nice coach.
I think all players are playing better than when I was fist saw them.
We have a first game soon.
So they are practicing very hard.

Oh!
We have the fist game on next Wednesday.
So please come to see and cheer our team!!(^0^)/

.....I have nothing to talk about boys lacrosse team more,
so I would like to talk about yesterday's practice. ('u')b

Yesterday, we were practiced until about 7:30.
So we couldn't eat the dinner.
But all players were practiced very hard, so the coach was ordered Chinese Foods!

But also we had a problem....
We have a STUDY HOUR!!(>o<);;
So we wento to South dorm on 9:45 to get the Chinese Foods('u')b
It was really late dinner, but it was very fun dinner.
So I had a nice day yesterday♪

Last four weekends♪

Today I would to talk about last four weekends.

I didn't go to Ski Trip, but I think I had nice weekend :)

On every Saturday I am going to Japanese weekend school.
So I went to there and studied.
I am going there for three years and I will graduate this school at soon.
I have many friends in there and I love this school.

After the school, I went to my friend, Yuri's house to over night with another Japanese girl, kinue (I called her Kinoko, means mushroom in Japanese).
We are going different school on weekdays but I love them.

On the next day, we went to Manhattan.
And we went to KARAOKE with them and other nine Japanese people.
We used one room for eleven people so there was very noisy.
We song many songs especially Anime Songs.(>o<)

After the Karaoke I went to back home and we had a party in my home.

On the next day, I went to Keio Dorm to over night at Keiko's room.
We talked a lot and I think I had good time with her.
On Tuesday, my friend Hiroko come to dorm.
We had a little party for her and we ate pudding.
And I came back to home and studied for Geo test.

I think I had nice days in this last weekends.
I had a lot of fun with them.

But I wanted to go to ski trip too....(>A<)
(I will go to there in next year!w)

Trip to Indian Hills High School

Yesterday, we went to the Indian Hills High School.
This is second time for us to go to other school to meet American students.

We went to there by bus. I sat with Keio so its drive was very nice.
When we got to the school, some students guide us to their school.

After the guides, we went to Little Theater to see the talent show.
But I went to 12th grade's geography class with Saki and Keiko to teach Japanese culture.
First we didn't know anything about it, so we were surprised.
But they are so nice to us and we could talk little with 12th grade's students.
So I think we did our best and its a good experience to us.
Mr. Kringle!!!!! I did good job!!! right?!(>o<)w
But my friends who is watched talent show said it was great.
I wanted to see talent show too...;;

After the talent show, we ate lunch with American students and teach Japanese Calligraphy, Shodo to them.

Then we went to play bowling.
This is first time to me to go to bowling with American people.
But it was really nice.
I had soooooo fun with them♪
Oh! And I got 3 strikes and 2 spares!!
Did you believe it?!
This is first day to get strikes!
We played 2 sets and my best score was 102.
This is also my best score in my life too.
We had a nice time with thoses students.

After the bowling, we went to restaurant to eat dinner.
I sat with Hitomi, Saki, Yuki and 4 Indian Hills students.
It was a very funny dinner.
In that restran, there have some crayon on each table.
So we drew many pictures on the paper.

We came back to Keio on about 8:15.
I was very full and sleepy.
So I was slept in the bus.

This trip was very funny and it was very nice experience to us.
We had a lot of fun time with American students.
So I want to go to Indian Hills High School again.
And bowling!(>A<)

I went toCooperstown♪

HELLO★
I am SHIORI and a student of Keio Ny.
I started this blog yesterday because of English class :(

Today I would to talk about my trip on last Sunday and Monday.

Last Monday was a holiday, so I went to COOPERSTOWN with my family.

There are famous for baseball, and there has a National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum.
We went to there, and saw many baseball goods and historical things.

There has a game to know a lot of things about baseball or National baseball Hall of Fame and Museum.
I could answered all questions, so I got many baseball cards.

Next, we drove around there and found a lake which was frozen. We stepped on the ice and we walked on it. There has some cracks on the ice, but we could walked on it. It looks like skate. And many people did fishing at there, and made holes on the ice. This is my first time to see it. So this experience was very interesting to me.

At the last, we went to a baseball field which is very famous.

On the next day, we went to many antique shops, my mom loves antique. Also we went to a famous museum.

This trip was very nice and I want to recommend to go to Cooperstown.



Also today is my friend, Ryo's birthday!
